The empty space on the S looks like it be perfect for the Map Lights that come on the SL. ANyone know if that part can be ordered and if the power is already run to it under there?

Maybe because to bigdog and others on here it doesn't seem logical to buy an S then spend time and money trying to get the trim differences back...

When people buy a car - they normally have a few things in mind.

1. How much money they have to spend...2. How much will the car payments be...3. What is available on the lot...

After they buy the car.

1. Their finances change...2. They didn't realize how much they missed a feature...3. They can afford to spend a few buck that month on a feature they want...

So, their could be a bunch of reasons why they didn't buy the next model up and it is fun adding a few features they want.

And, the beat goes on and on and on...

Sunroof #1 was a ghetto piece of crap aftermarket unit.

Versa #2 has a factory sunroof.

sorry... I won't jack your thread anymore...

How much did the mod set you back and where's the power supply? Looks snazzy! (I wish I had thought to do that in my Loyale or Sidekick... Would've saved me much headache...)

they cost around 5$ each, and they run on 2 AAA batteries each!they dont really look miss-fit! i will try to get a picture in day-light!

oh ya they dont need any wiring also.. they turn on and off by pushing the plastic part u see shining in the pic!

they are really heavy duty .. see this video !

Looks like they'll come in handy if you ever drive into a lake and need the lights to find the door!

THese lights look very cool. Are they available in the USA? ALthough if they'll ship to Beirut, I shouldn't have any problem getting them to Minnesota, right?

1). they are very easy to install.. they have a heavy-duty double sided 3m tape.. and when i mean heavy-duty i mean they withstand the whole day in direct sunlight and not fall or loose the stickiness..

2)- changing the batteries is done by removing 3 little screws on the back of this thing..

so... you'd have to remove it from the ceiling and use more double-sided tape when you changed the batteries... Still, I bet they'll last a long time... aren't those LEDs?

no need for using more double sided tape.. the ones they put are reusable and last a long time..

besides as advertised these LEDs are efficient to the extent that the batteries will last around 100,000 hours of continous operation!..

that's actually really well thought out... so, if the tap is reusable... you could reposition them whenever you wanted... hmmm.... I may need a set for the Camel anyways... never know when you want to change the lighting...
