Tow Package issues

I have an AWD 2007 Armada that I installed a trailer package on. With the authorized plug ins and everything, I do not have any power coming to the back of the truck. When I unplug and test the factory harness there is nothing. I pulled the 30A fuse in the engine compartment and it looked intacted. Any help is greatly appreciated.... is this a factory issue that I need to go to the dealer for?

Hmmmm, all I can say is that if buy the Armada with the Tow Pkg. from Nissan, it incudes the following:

- Tow receiver hitch- Lower final gear ratio- 7-pin wiring harness- Trailer brake pre-wiring- Transmission temperature gauge- Heavy-duty battery- Auto-leveling rear suspension

I don't know if any of those features have anything to do with the issue you are running into. If I were you I would call a Nissan dealer and see what they have to say about your problem, I know you were looking to us for advice, but I can't think of anything else. Here is what the truck has....

The prewire 7-pin harness (factory installed) and the TOW Mode switch in the center console next to the VDC Switch. As far as everything else.... not there.

Are you talking about the contact HOT power to the 7 way plug in? If so, have you verified there is a relay in the fuse panel under the hood for this?

I just added the factory tow pkg to my 08 QX 56 and it works flawlessly, abeit expensive.

No. At least none at my dealership.
