2001 Pathfinder dash clips

Hello, I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE with the famous Bose 6 Disc. I need to know how to get those clips for the middle air conditioner vents to let go. I tried screwdriver and a cloth but I was pushing to hard for nothing to be happening. When I go to let them loose will they need alot of pressure or should it just snap out. Thanks

i used a rag and a wide flat head screwdriver, stuck the screwdriver in the top right, above the right vent where the trim piece starts to curve down. the first time took some major gentle prying, but it eventually popped out far enough to where i could grab it. it was in there pretty well but with some paitence you can get it.
