Welcome to NICO!

Which model year? I assume you mean the outer plastic "lens" for the headlights, right?

I'd contact Joe Tsensky at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com and ask him for prices ...

Good luck!

You have to buy the whole headlight assembly. Not cheap either. $1200+ a piece.

The plastic lenses are fused to the housing.

If you mean headlight armoring, Google it.

The NHTSC has decided in its infinite wisdom to ban all headlight coverings. Act fast!

Did you need to get the haze off the lense? I did this on mine with a kit from autozone that worked real well

I have been using Mequiars PlastX bought at Walmart for 8 bucks. The stuff works great. Took off all the gray in minutes. Crystal clear lenses now.

Yup.

I would recommend the http://www.stongard.com products ... expensive but worth it.

Stone Guard stuff? Damn boys, I used that stuff in the 60's -- I think I was in Golden Gate park at the time.

Seriously -- try the kits that clean the haze, then film them for protection - although they already are a lexan type of plastic so I haven't bothered.

If they are badly crazed, you can wet-sand with 2000 grit paper, then rubbing compound, then polishing compound or jewelers Rogue. Then a silicon or Teflon based wax -- don't use carnuba as it yellows with heat and age.

Do NOT wax them if you are going to lay film over them once you clean them. Windex them or wipe them with rubbing alcohol and a clean lint-free cloth to remove any residue from cleaning them.

Will 1600 grit work? I can't seem to find finer.

You can't replace just lenses, and new headlight housings are around $1000 each. Here is a method that I have great results with on all my cars:

Wet Mr Clean Magic Eraser pad and polish lense side to side then up and down repeatedly (never in circles). Finish with Meguiars PlastX solutionOnce lenses are smooth and clean, treat with Rain-X to prevent acid rain from dulling the lenses in the future.
