All you get are two "halo" rings with ballasts and harness. So yes, the rings are UV protected since they are a cold cathode.

You have to bake the lights at 200ºF for 20 min. But it does give you the opportunity to clear your parking lights at the same time...

I think this might be the next thing I get for the G...

What do you use to clear out he yellow parking lights? Will the angel eyes' wiring harness be plug-and-play??

Yes, they are "plug and play".

Clearing out the turn signals... I am not positive, but I believe that umnitza has the clears. I could be wrong though. Never really thought about where to get them.

Sweet! Last NOPI I talked with a guy that used halogen lights from Home Depot...he said they fit perfect and modified the housing to use a different bulb. That seems like too much work to me....lol

If it turns out you don't want them, LMK. I might take them off your hands.

As far as installation, it should be similar to most other headlights. Bake at 200º for 20 min, pop apart, install, bake for another 20 min and reassemble.

Oh, did I mention that I'm jealous...

They're on the way! I recieved a reply from the company very promptly, so I'm feeling better. They said they haven't had time to do the install instructions just yet, and I can understand that. They're willing to refund me a bit, if I send them a DIY. I was planning on doing one anyway for everyone here, so that works out.

But now I have to find out how to clear my blinkers. I can't find anyone who sells clear lenses.

*edit*. Forget the clear turn signals, WAY too much work. This link shows a guy who went a little out of the way to make a clear lense. I'm no fabricator, as I don't have the tools to do so.

Beancooker, I may just sell you them, maybe...

Found something interesting. I like the LED halo that was done over at Clearcorners.com, but the price tag of the overall mod is very high ($1680/pair)Here you can see what the LED's look like lit up against the projector. Very very nice.

I started looking around for where they may have got the LED strips from and I think its here:http://www.superbrightleds.com....htmlScroll down to the : FLS series 30-LED Flexible Light Strips

Now take a look at a close up of what they used at Clearcorners.com:

Below are the specs for the FLS-W300Looks pretty close to the same to me. Perhaps I will purchase a strip of those and play around, see what I can do with them. I'm just not sure if I can power them right off the car's batter, or if I need some sort of amp, but I doubt it.

Whatcha think?

Me too. The oven thing scares me! I would love to do that to the sedan.... And i don't have a side marker to change to LED's like the coupes have!

Do you know if it will work on the sedan?

Will which work? The Predator Chromium, or the LED's?

The oven scares all of us, but if it must be, so be it.Truth be told, I don't know if either will on the sedan, I know little about anyother g35 than my coupe.

The Predator Chrromium... I dont have the side markers in the lights like the coupes do!

I guess if you have to take the lights apart and put 2 rings in each... then you should be able to do the same with the sedan???

IDK but let us know after you do yours and if you think it is something that will work on the sedan!

I wouldn't know for sure unless I had a sedan light to play with, but based off of pictures, I'd have to say no. Sorry.

Your upper light is not fully round, it is eclipsed by the lower. That would probably make the install very difficult, if possible at all. I'll email umnitza and ask if its possible, or if they may make a kit for the 4dr.

Just got an email back from Umnitza regarding Sedan halos:

"We need a sedan to test it on, otherwise, there is no reason it wouldn’t work."

interesting...

tell them they can test on mine

But I would really be interested if it would fit. I am not into spending 200 bux if it isn't going to work...

Def thanks for the update!

You lucky SOB...

If you want the clears for the front, go to somewhere (junkyard) that has some broken G35 tail lights. Get the reverse light lenses. They will fit.

Well Beancooker, you'll be pleased to know that these do not fit my 06. They seem to be made for 03-05's.

I have the 06 projector high/low on top.

The halo's are just too large. the fog can almost fit one, but in order to fit the top on, I'd have to mount it on a 45 degree angle, not cool.

I emailed them regarding this.

Bummer. They are made for the standard Xenons, not the projectors. Lemme see what I can get saved up in the next week or two.. I may be able to buy them from you.

yeah, it stinks. Especially since I had to put parts of my baby in the oven to find out. Scary.

But, its not all bad. I'm going to get those LED strips and do something with that. If it works out, maybe I can make a kit for others with 06's who wanna add a little flare to the lights.

Cool! Heck, you could save the harness from the umnitza's, and buy LED strips from an electronics store, and do it up yourself.

Thats the plan. But I won't need the harness from Umnitza, the LED's are direct connect. Should be very easy to do. Just wish they were as noticable as the halo's.

Umnitza confirmed what I thought, that they didn't notice that the 06 has different lights. They wanted pictures of how the halos fit in mine, so I'll post them here too.

They're just too big for the 06.

You know now that i am looking at my lights, I think it would fit.

The sedan lights arn't as pulled back as the coupes. It would hide the Halo Better than the coupe.

Also the part of the Halo that isn't lit up would be the side of the bottom light where the signal light is and the bottom of the top light where the light is concaved from the bottom light.
