white smoke coming from 300zx pipes

i have white smoke coming out from my 300zx exhaust pipes wondering what the problem might be?

Is it all the time or just sometimes?

Does it smell like raw fuel or coolant? If it does it all the time it's one of those. Did you do any recent work to it?

all the time and by seals are leeking too but it didnt smoke like that even when the seals where leeking just happed recently

no didnt do any work just got it from auction and bin sitting that could be a reason but now it started leeking after i went more then 90 mile per hour

Does your car idle weird, if so you might wana do a compression test on all 6 cylinders... If its white smoke its most likely coolant leaking into your cylinders which means bad head gasket....

could be the coolent because got a new leek ok so one time i took the car went over 110mph got home and pipes were smoking but not as much after a while more and more i shifted right so dont know could be a head gasket looking for a nissan mechanic in the washington tacoma area to check it out email is vyacheslav@live

my car does that every once in a while too. sometimes from under the hood/behind the motor, and sometimes from under the car, but close to the front. hasn't done it from under the car since i got my new exhaust on though. i've been wondering what it is. it usually happens after driving on the interstate.

If it has been sitting for a while things are going to dry up and fluid will begin to sit. After restarting it and driving it... sometimes faster than other times... you are going to get everything flowing again. Seals and metal are going to swell and contract from the heating and cooling. Watch fluid levels closely for a week as you drive it constantly and if the smoke goes away and levels are okay then good. If not then you are going to have to dive in and figure out where you are leaking from. My guess is most likely the headgasket.

wondering is it hard to change the head gasket i drove the car from cali to washington worked fine but after that one time going a 110mph it started smoking so ill check it out

ok the smoke now is blue so it must be the gasket i ll get it checked out thx for all ur help peeps

when i start the car i have little bit of smoke but when i add rpm it turns a little blue looking like and a lot of smoke
