It has been two years since I have cleaned the throttle body, and two years since the old KN filter took the life of my old MAF sensor. (Replace with used MAF Senor at that time)

I have been noticing the car is a little rougher on the start ups. Idles ok!

I came across the old cans of cleaner for both in the garage this week that reminded me of it.

Should I do it for good measure?

Why not?

I have never had MAF cleaned yet {213,000 miles} unless dealer did without asking/telling me.

Throttlebody cleaned only once at 114,000 miles. { unless t3 cleaned it again at 202,000 when it went in for a plenum hose job?}

Cant hurt. Dont bother cleaning the TB unless you want to take it off. In my experience you cant get it clean worth bothering unles you pull it off, which only takes a couple mins...

when you take the TB off its also a good idea to clean the EGR a bit...
