alriight so after cleaning the MAF sensor itself with Electric parts cleaner(Lectra motive) as instructed i was still havin the same problem..I was convinced it was the fuel injectors, but when the RPM would start jumping around i also noticed the headlights and cluster lights would flicker, so after havin a few brews on my day off i decided to take apart the MAF again, this time i unscrewed the part where the wiring connects to the MAF sensor itself. Not only was one of the pins bent and not making contact, the pins that were straight had some kind of adhesive from when it was assembeled in the factory. It was old and orange looking, so i used an exacto knife to scrape it off and used a dental tweezer to bend all the pins microscopically closer, and used a q-tip and lectra motive to clean them a little bit. I also scraped some of the tarnsih off the metal adapters in both the male and female plugs. Its been 2 days one of which was rainy as a mo fo, the rpms are steady and the car even sounds better.

Turns out the BG 44k i used twice with no results was in vain, this was simply a faulty MAf connection. If u hav the same symptoms and had a mechanic look at u with a straight face and say u need new injectors- $800 and change and thats if ur not gettin jerked hard.If u kno its an MAF problem and are willing to spend $500 and change u may wanna do what i did first. make sure it has a solid connection b4 u drop that dough.

In the process i noticed the s- pipe that connects to the throttle body had cracks, i used home depot 3"rubber/metal drain pipe clamps with a lil bit of electric tape to seal it up for now. I ordered a new pipe from infiniti for $160 this will do for now.Just remeber its like my friend said, even a tiny bit of air goin in the wrong way will **** u the way ur whole car runs.

BG44K is never in vain. It is best as preventative maintenance.

You mean was, Because I saw the post on how they removed some of the ingredients of BG44k so is it the same thing can we expect the same cleanliness in our engine or not?

another tip to help others out... be sure to never steam clean the engine bay as this can many times cause the MAF sensor to become faulty

yea ur right maxnix, at the time it seemed futile bc i was still having the stalling problem, but now that its getting the right gas air mixture i now feel how it drives like a new car....well at least sort of. Just so u guys know though, BG44k is just the overpriced nissan brand they want u to think is essential and nothing else can compare, so u go to the dealership4it and spend way too much, but i know alot of mechanics and grease monkeys with high performance cars and old cars who say tecron3 works just as good and doesnt contain ethanol. priced reasonably at 10$ for a 20 gal treatment. It cleans the combustion chambers a little better than BG44k can, b/c like the last guy said they dont make it as good as they use to

Sometimes a few frosty pops and a Cuban are all that your car needs to acheive Shangri-La!! Congratulations for resisting the urge to do the under plenum work.
