It was such a nice day in minnesota. After college I decided I'd go and work on the cars and get them stripped down as much as I could.

Still a lot left to do. Just thought I'd share.

no, the plastic part that surrounds the shifter, havc controls, and radio. the shift boot attachs to it.

i have the one in the auto car, maybe the trim around the shift lever will come apart and look the same as a manual trim piece. never took an auto trim panel apart before.

people using my thread to sell parts jk. I did not get this done in one day. Although I did get about 3 quarters of what you see done that day. 6 hours spent on the cars. The wiring harness is a bish to get out.

What is the main goal behind this project? Are both 240s in good shape or are you building one nice one?

Build one clean clean chassis. And both of them aren't in great conditionyeah thats the white one, a stupid buy on my part.another pic as well of the white one.this is the blue one. Yes I know what the hell was I thinking and why didn't I inspect the car better. I've heard this a lot. So no need to say it again.and this is the newest one. Clean no rust what so ever. Plus the guy already sanded it down, and other stuff. So in the end yes I will be building one clean 240. The white one was a manual. And has everything needed in order for a manual swap, blue one was a auto.
