Just put a new battery in my daughters 2002 pathfinder and now the sunroof only moves 2-3 inches every time you hit the switch. Of course, you should only have to hit it one time. Any help or ideas?

I'll move this to the proper forum where you're more likely to get help.

Hi CKirbyjr,

Welcome to NICO -- The same thing happens whenever I disconnect my battery.

Try opening the sunroof all the way (2 inches at a time) and then close it (again two inches at a time). Turn the vehicle off and on again. Sunroof should operate normally.

I'm not sure if the last step is required but I've always done it anyway. It's worked all three times I've had my battery disconnected.

Hello,

I have a 02 pathfinder too. I have the answer for you from the dealer. You will need to take it to the dealer and they will reset something on the computer in the car. Quick fix. This will always happen when the battery is disconnected.

I assume my 02 QX4 is the same as 02 Pathfinder.I replaced my battery myself, and I haven't had this issue.
