4:45 am, traveling 65-70mph dark dark dark country road, coming back from Wal-Mart with groceries. DNB blaring, full tank of gas....

4:50am, pitch blackness - Old Lady says, "DEER DEER"- i shoot my eyes to the right hand side of the road, BOOM DEER, i steadly watch him to make sure he's not coming out in the road

To late, Theres one already in the road.....

I slam on the brakes, the air bags deploy.

Bye bye S14. I just recently grabbed a Window sized Nico sticker, and a Japanese authentic tag, off a Subaru Impreza.

Gone, Left headlight GONE. hood, SMASHED. leaking water/ ac is busted.

The car was my pride and joy, it hurts so bad to lose something you've worked on for so long, put so much time into to just, hit... a deer.

I can't believe it, i really can't. Ill post some pics up tomorrow of the damage, luckly the $400 dollar Michilan NEXENs i jsut stuck on my 215/45's are in good shape, the front bumper is still ok, only think was bad was under the hood...

I will try to see what the insurance companies say, and see what im going to do about the car. If anyone wants to offer on the whole thing, i will be possibly letting it go once i get everything settled. Good thing is, i have full coverage.

And ya know, as many part outs as Nico has, you'd think we'd figured out by now not to be to damn crazy

True empathy goes out to you man, People always assume the worst when they get into an accident as such, but nevertheless I hope you get a pleasant surprise and find out that your car IS salvageable and all can be well again in your zenki filled blessing of a life! But really I wish the best for you bro.

you definitly hope i can get it all back together. i'd like to be back in it, but the fear, ya know

maybe, ill just put it down for a bit, and get a older coupe, take my time and cruise.... strip the s14, and build it from the ground up

but just hard times right now for most, and gas is such a waste of moneymy old lady has a 4 door honda i'll probably be in... good on gas, economic friendly, etc etc

oh well, just really can't believe it ya know, just really can't, appreciate the caring

deer these days seem to have an unfortunate liking for 240's...it could be worse tho atleast you are alright

I knew a kid that last summer spent 6 days straight with 8+ hours working on his dsm then drove a couple states over and hit a black bear lol

That sucks bro,

I lost my 1993 Celica GT-S in the SAME fashion.. I didn't hit a deer but someone RAN a stop sign and you could tell IMMEDIATELY that they werent going to fix it..I was TOTALLY bummed, it had 91,000 KILOMETERS and was owned by a middle aged couple who bought it new.. they had receipts from ALL the oil changes and Tune-ups they did at the Toyota Dealership they originally purchased the car at...

If Insurance DOESNT fix it hopefully they are atleast FAIR with you. Best of luck!

yeah man at least your ok. Don't let things like that get to you. Be strong and look at it as an opportunity. Get something nicer. I remember when I crashed my zenki. It took a lot from me, but 6 months later I got my Kouki and couldn't be happier.

what happens when an SUV hits you at 30mph. His damage was only a loose bumper lol

my e-mail is [email protected].... if you guys want to get in touch with me about some parts i'm really looking for someone to come pull the engine/transmission or i'll sell the whole car to who wants

thats sad to hear man, my friend was saying the other day that deers are real gangsta. They got theyre own warning signs, and they step out into the road infront of moving vehicles. They just dont give a damn. Seems like black zenkis attract accidents, now i dont feel bad about mine anymore.

damn that sux...shoudl've invested in one of those huge SUV grills to bulldoze those deers off...good thing there's no deers in NYC but don't give up man. zenki front end parts are relatively cheap at least compared to koukis so maybe u can get them fixed easy.

OK SO MY 240 IS TOTALED

State Farm sayed, if the car is nice, $5600 in my pocket, if not $3100

I WILL BE PURCHASING THE TOTALED 240 FROM STATE FARM FOR A PART OUT

OR A COMPLETE PICK UP

THE ENGINE, transmission, ALL IS FINE the car has roughly 217k miles on it. Upgraded injectors, Eagle Pistons and Rings, Stage 1 Shift kit in Auto transmission. 4 Lug Universal Enkei 215/45's with 80-90% Tread Michilan NEXENs ALL SEASON

THE INTERIOR IS ALMOST MINT CONIDTION, the windshield is gone

The support for the radiator needs to be bent out, the driver side quarter panel is gone, along with the hood

Also the headlight assembly is GONE

I will be taking offers on it AS A WHOLE, THE ENGINE RUNS GOOD STILL!

Please, If anyone wants to get there hands on this Zenki, E-mail me [email protected]

I will be taking offers till the price range hits where i think the car is worth

THE CAR STILL RUNS FINE!!!! Just damage to the driver side

Didn't get any pics today, but i can get some up tomorrow, just hold tight

THANKS ALL!!!!!! And deer suck so much *** its insane(but atleast the deer is dead.) Oh, and it was a Doe, not a buck, so the car isn't that bad off, also the front bumper is COMPLETELY in tack

damn that sux...i dono what u mean by "if the car is nice" u'll get 5600 if not 3100...

w/ a 217k mile chassis car ur better off looking for a s14 shell and dump the engine into it and get a car with clean title. sux but u have to do what u gotta do...good luck!

Well i would much rather have a Coupe shell

But at this point im scared to get into anything small, just to be plowed over again

I want to get rid of the 240 as is, engine running etc, but what state farm was saying was that i would get anywhere between the payoff amount for the loan, and 100-2600

Awe CMfireman i feel your pain man

its definitly bad when that happens, but it could of been worse

its more scarry when you hit something HUGE and your airbags deploy and you can't see NOTHING.

But we're ok, and ur ok, so thats whats matter, it could of been, you hitting the deer head on, and it coming through windshield, and landing in your arms while you stroll to a stop, imagine that

but anyways, I've thought hard about getting a coupe vert or regular, i really love coupes with chukis, and just move my ka over

What you guys think about the frame that the radiators on, and if that would be repairable enough to drive, with a slightly bent radiator?
