i have yet to start the car yet but when i turn the key into the on position the screen shows apexi quick then goes to the main menu but its really dull once it goes to the menu please help ps its an s13 with a blacktop s13 motor also before i started the major build the injectors wern't pulsing so if that helps any thanks in advance

umm, go into the setting menu and adjust the brightness of it?

Yes, adjust the brightness/contrast of the unit... pretty simple eh?

You may also consider checking your battery to make sure it is fully charged as well.

i tried pluging in a different commander and it did it to so its not the contrast and the battery is fine so idk

Have you tried adjusting the brightness & contrast anyway?

EDIT: let me put it this way, what are your brightness & contrast settings?

the contrast has nothing to do with it it did the same thing using a different commander so its not it i think its a wiring issue bad ground or something

But to satisfy my curiousity, what is your brightness & contrast set to?

idk it never worked it shows the main apexi screen nice and dark like it should but then when it switchs to the main menu its very dull nerly impossible to see i cant even negotiate the menu in order to adjust the contrast and it did the same thing with a different commander are the contrast settings saved onto the ecu or the commander its self

Everything should be saved into the ECU - that's why it doesn't make a difference whatever commander you put in...

maybe you'll have a better chance if you are looking @ it @ nite so at least you can read some of it.

you guys were right the contrast was all the way up its weird because its brand new in the box but i got it working but there is no values in any of the tables or for any of the maps is this because i have not started it yet or initialized or calibrated it yet
