Im just about finished with my sr20/gt30r vert that i plan on tracking very often and im on my last step before i get it on the road! I need a rollcage! I have all the materials and a welder but I need the dimensions for the main hoop for its the only part im having bent by a shop. If one of you fellow vert owners with a cage/rollbar could please take a measurement of the height and width of your main hoop it would be super appreciated! thanks -mike-
hmm that should work. my friend had it in his vert
Thanks but i wanna do my own rollcage and spending $500 for a 4 point that you have to weld in is absolutley rediculous!!! You can buy a 10 point weld in rollcage from http://www.swracecars.com made from the same materials for cheaper than that thing! lol! And if some one were to give the dimensions on the main hoop you could request the hoop in that size when ordering than bam!!!! A 10 point roll cage with a halo for the same price as the frsport cage.

you could try calling the company that makes the convertible specific cage and ask for the dimensions. I forgot to check the price.. i can get the one i sent you for 350 welded in and a 6pt add on. 500 is ridiculous what they charge now due to inflation.
i payed 1200 for my 8 point and im happy. you cant put a price on safety so dont be stupidly cheap
Im not being cheap! LOL! I would just prefer to work/build my project car by me and not have a shop do it! If some one could could please bust out a measureing tape and just give me the height and width dimensions of there main hoop it would be highly appreciated!

I already took my own measurements of width and height with the top up but i just realy wanted to see what others had in comparision to my measurements. This is my first roll cage im attempting and i just want to be very sure on the most important part(main hoop).
