I would first say:

1) Grind the stud off2) Drill out the stud all the way through the subframe3) go to a savage yard and saw off the savage stud4) weld (tight bead) a 1/4" plate with the stud in the center making a "T"5) insert the welded plate from the back side of the subframe6) weld into place7) Better than new

Now I sound dumb.....I figured you wanted a strong, unbreakable setup

You can hammer it out. It's pressed to the floor. IIRC, one of the members, babowc had same problem.

similar sitiuation, the 02-05 altimas have the subframe recalls. I have seen those studs snap and then they get sent to the bodyshop to have a 2000 dollar frame welded in.

+1 but its easy money once you do a few of them....i remember my first day at nissan when i went in the shop and was like.....wtf? There was a huge pile of probably 20+ subframes in the corner.

We were talking about sub frame spacers and bushings and stuff in suspension forum and he brought that up. If you remove rear seat or carpet, you should see the studs. Spray some PB Blaster and hammer it from the underneath. You should be able to remove it that way. I think there's a write up on it over at z*****.net.
