Late sunday night i started hearing a bad exhaust leak...it started making a ticking noise then a couple hours later i lost quite a bit of power and it started sounding like a lawn mower. After a quick glance over the motor just now i found my problem.

Well that looks like an exhaust leak.... Oh boy...this doesn't look good.. Blown exhaust manifold gasket and a melted spark plug wire FTL?

You called it. I am not suprised that an exaust leak melted the plug wire. The bigger questin is why you have a leak. I hav enot heard of a leak at the head developing for no reasion. Not that it can not happen, I just have never jheard of it.

I would repalce the wire and try to find out why you got a leak.

Looking @ the pictures, there doesn't seem to be a bolt/stud where the manifold meets the head.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didnt see that until you said it....lol. When the gasket blew it ripped some bolts out and ripped some in half. Im thinking my cat may be clogged.
