Let me get this correct, you bought a Nismo 350z. Then de-Nismo-fied it? As in taking off the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, rear spoiler, 18 and 19 inch wheels, the Brembo brakes, and then replaced them with stock 350Z parts?

I bought a Nismo 350Z months ago, you can not tell me that you talked yourself into paying that premium for the Nismo package, to reverse it. That wouldnt make ANY sense.

To me, it looks like you have a regular base 350Z with bronze Nismo wheels.

The new (i don't know if its released in US yet) S2000 CR comes with a hard top but still has the rag top. You also can buy a hard top for the car if you like. In my mind its the only good looking sports car with a rag top when the top is up.

Your opinion is what it is and respected...... mine is: i don't get why a car has to be masculine though? I mean i didn't buy my Z or the former S2000 because either one made me "look" a certain way. I bought the cars because for the price they were the best performing car. Only someone with low self esteem would need a car to look a certain way. Now i'm not saying i would drive a pink pinto just because it had a 460 in it with a blower, but i don't need a car to make me who i am. This car is a passion of mine but to be honest i don't care what other people think of what i drive. I know why i drive it. To me the S2000 looks a little plain jane but when you drive one it totally changes the way it you look at it. There is no other car to compare to the S2000 in its class, thats why i compare them to the Z. I wish i still had the S2000 so i could compare them side by side and drive each one back to back. Maybe i will by one next year......

And if you've ever driven the sky turbo you would call it a girl car before the s2000. Those sky's live up to the saturn name and i am sure the solstice lives up to the pontiac name=JUNK... thats why GM wouldn't slap the Chevy badge on either one. And as far as "hating" GM, that sounds like someone who doesn't know American cars. Look at to days domestic market, GM is stepping it up to compete with the world market, introducing the first full size SUV Hybrid. The have flexfuel offered in over half their vehicles. They are making changes, its ford and dogde that are falling behind. I actually heard Diamler Chrysler might quit making Dodge's for awhile.... i work for a manufacturing company that forges and machines parts for vehicles around the world, such as - Pretty much everything in Europe including Porsche, International, Ford, Allison, GM, Diamler-Chrysler, pretty much every major car company.

My feeling on the neon, is it was ruined by local ricers. So to me you could have a 5 second SRT4 but its still a neon...... sorry.
