That was horrible. How could those guys just stand there while the man was screaming for his life...

you know whats worse, they threw a blanket over the wreck with Williamson still inside, and finished the race.

Back in those times the safety crews were nothing like we have today. Although I would have still tried to do something.

You could see the despair and frustration of the one man who tried to help him. I would hate to have that on my conscience for the rest of my life.

Check out how ineffective the old extinguisher is... Modern fire suppression equipment is light-years more advanced than that...

Man trying to help is another racer and one of his good friends. I cant remember his name but ESPN did a whole story on this video.

man that really sucks ***. kinda makes me think about some **** that happened here in richmond mar 31st 08. involved a ford f350 and a 350ztt. "w/ someone i have spoken to a hand full of times."
