- a new steering wheel You should just find a used one and re-wrap it or you can find used silvia steering wheels in good condition on eBay.- new header trim There's no way you can find one in good condition. I've never seen used one without a crack. If you still have yours, find a local guy who can fiber glass it. That would be your best bet.

Get the carpet out of an 89-90 coupe in a junkyard. It's 10x better quality than the 91-94 carpet. | Quote, originally posted by Cosmic11 » | | I also need to find a new steering wheel |
Get a used aftermarket wheel and a generic hub adapter that has the Nardi and Momo bolt pattern. Italvolanti and Momo Marine wheels are a good value, and hardly anybody knows about them. They both sell for about $50 on Ebay. I had a re-wrapped stock wheel and an Italvolanti, and there was no comparison.

Thanks ishkabibble!I am trying to keep the car as stock as possible on the interior, so a aftermarket wheel is not currently in my plans, but thank you for the advice. As for the carpet I would like to get it new, mine is not in bad shape, just want a new one.

Hey Cosmic, I'm also in Calgary building a vert project I have a used but in good condition OEM steering wheel, if your interested email me. As for the carpet I dont have an extra one but, I got a used one out of a coupe and thats what I'm gonna be using. There are some molded carpets for the coupe on ebay , the price is fair I guess check it out sometime. If you need any other help let me know.

If you want a "new" carpet installed, I suggest taking it to an interior shop. The coupes and verts have minor differences in floor pans (primarily the seatbelt retractors for the passive system on the coupes and the extra bracing on the rear seat for the verts). I tried to install a coupe carpet in my vert last spring and the carpet (Bought from StockInteriors.com) fit like a turd. And they were supposed to be one of the best vendors.I ended up taking it to a shop that cut a custom carpet and installed it. But if I could do it all over again, I would have gone with the high traffic carpet out of a junkyard 89-90 and redyed it.

Thank you all!Hijacker - Thanks, you just saved me! I was about to purchase a full carpet from an online retailer. I did not know about the bracing issue in the rear on the verts, compared to the coupe. how did your custom carpet turn out? does it fit well? 1SickSilvia - we'll be in touch, I may want to snag that wheel from you!

look here http://www.courtesyparts.com/b....htmlscroll down till you see the mirror assy. & roof hardware etc. diagram. all the parts are shown with numbers, i believe the header is part #K0352. if you click the number it'll take you to the description/shopping cart. they also have tons of other parts for the vert.

Thanks Kirkkeon, It says that for the header, "part does not exist". I wish a company like black dragon automotive would reproduce parts for the verts. They reproduce all the parts for the 300zx vert but not he 240sx vert.We should hassle them till the make parts for our 240's. If only it were that easy!
