So, what's a good 64-bit benchmark test program? Most of the programs I see do 3D tests which will be low on my system as I am not a gamer and chose a cheaper video card due to that reason, thus I am penalized.

sysoft sandra

pcmark 06 or newer,

systemark 07 i think (may be 06)

it really depends what your trying to bench, just saying a 64bit system is rather vague.

and what are you trying to compare it against? are you looking for apples to apples testing of speed versus os type? or trying to bench different hardware against each other?

Was just looking for some comparissons with others from a generic perspective. Most of the comparisons i have seen have been from a processing and 3D perspective via gamers. I've also run into issues finding programs that will run multi-threaded utilizing 64-bit OS.

I had Sandra but removed it due to some events in the error log. i'll try the others
