What year is it? If its a 03 or 04 is it performance or base model? The performance has the LSD, and thats the only difference between base model. The enthusiast, i thought, came with LSD as well. I could be wrong.

Sorry about finding out after the fact, should have used carfax...... It would tell you what trim level the car is.

I've made worse mistakes buying cars. When your emotions get involved, they get in the way of clear thinking. If you need a carfax report, let me know. I may be able to help you out. (e-mail me though).

Depends, everyone gets a little crazy with this type of question. I say since your going to be doing more then just daily driving get a 2 way and be done with it. Others will say get a viscus. My opinion is the viscus sucks but then again I have been spoiled with my 2 way tomei, and all the other cars that I have driven with a lsd were clutch types as well so I am used to it. Viscus is cheaper in maintenance but I personlly dont think it works as well. Do your research ask the guys what lsd there running at the events you go then make a choice. Granted dont get sucked into buying what everyone else has because it may not be the best for you but at least you will have a place to start in terms of a 1, 1.5 or 2 way and the lsd type.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I was without the net for a few days.

1 way- this lsd only locks up on acceleration, when you release the throttle it acts like an open diff. Really great if you don't totally understand the traction and weight transfer of cars when racing because you can release the diff lock simply by letting off the throttle.
2 way- this one locks up on both acceleration and deceleration, this is why drifters like it because it is continually doing its job as they irradically go on and off the throttle. These diffs are fun but can be scary for people that may not totally understand car dynamics and physics because diff lock is only released when the clutch is in.
1.5 way- this one is a little of both. you have full lock on acceleration but on deceleration you dont have total diff lock. great type of diff for people who want to get used to how a two way will work in their vehicle.

My 2 cents is that why waste your time with a 1.5 if you are ultimately going to upgrade later to a 2 (which is what so many who get a 1.5 do)? yeah when you first get a 2 way your car will be a whole new animal. You will have a few scarey moments at first but after a couple hundred miles with it in you know what it will do because it will do it consistently. And consistentcy is important no matter what form of motorsport you are doing. Granted rain is different and makes for a hair raising experience if you are not careful. However if maintenace cost for you are going to be an issue since diff oil changes are to occur once every 3000 miles then go with a viscus because even though I think they suck they still will get the job done.

o nice man thnx... i didnt know any of that.... i just thought a LSd was a LSD lol.... reallly taught me alot!!!... so im guessing 2 way is for more expierenced drivers (but in my case i really dont wanan buy 2) SO if i bought a 2 way drive slow as dirt until i got used to it, spec in rain... maybe take it to a PLOT and let it loose a little bit... sound good?

Everyone model except the base comes with lsd and hid's.

All Nismo parts, exhaust, intake, sway bars, and shift knob for now. Lots more to come!

No sir, i have a performance, and it has nothing more than the LSD. The auto trans performance model has LSD and traction control. No HID's for me
