Wow! I forgot about that picture! LOL! That was a long @ss time ago, holy sh*t! Where'd you find it?? I can't remember where the hell I have that hosted...

Naw this is me now dumbazz:

If you are going to try and post pictures of someone, do yourself a favor and make sure you don't have an old high school photo and actually have something current... Old trends are definately something to laugh at. Its like the 80's and the trends that everyone started and followed. At the time it was "cool", but we look back now and REALIZE how f*cking rediculous they actually were.

Yeah, I was a freaking moron back in high school. Glad you gave me a laugh tonight. You really did just brighten up my day

this looks like a junkyard show car..... lots of **** that by itself is nice, but when added together looks like butt hole.

the money on the kit, the rediculous wheels(sorry not even close to looking good IMHO), the rediculous wing..... could have aleast kept the DE.

no way is that original S14 silvia...... I wouldnt even be suprized if it was 89-90 coupe(maybe a titanium color) with a S14 front and rear conversion with the way things are mounted and lined up.

PS you think the 12k is to cover the costs of stickers that he installed for parts he doesnt have.

As a matter of fact NO.....my stock ka isnt going to be burning s*it as it sits now. It just seems a little 'backwards' to have all those mods on that car only to find a SOHC under the hood, N/A at that.

Ok so I don't think there is any way that used to be an S13.......unless they changed the roof too, but that would be way too much work. When I was at Golden Gardens I saw two 86's with SOHC KA's. But no s14's haha

At least you could've kept YOU'RE DE and not lost .6 litres in the swap

Do you have ANY IDEA how much support the SOHC has from NISMO? And other companies? Its extreme old school AND a great competitor for its class and has waaaay more support than the DOHC has. The DOHC gets destroyed by almost every other motor in its class, turbo or not.

ok, what's going on with those side skirts? Looks as if they have been pieced together. Second, where did the radiator support go? and did anybody notice the wheels hanging off of the ground? air cylinders I am guessing. must have swapped whatever decent engine he had under the hood for the F&F suspension.

no doubt, but still why waste the time and money swapping it in for a show car? besides the engine doesnt look crazy modded like teh racing ka24e's so whats the point?

Definitely teh weirdz. Judging by the wipers, I can believe that the car was originally RHD (though I would love to have some pics around the firewall, just to be sure). Those wheels are in a category where I would love to look at them, but probably wouldn't want to own them (like chameleon/color-changing paint). Love it or hate it, this is someone's personal vision, manifested. But an NA SOHC in an S14? That's madness!

more power, higher revs, and less weight. whats not to love? the previous owner didnt exactly treat it properly so I opted for something with a snail, instead of a dirty beat to piss SOHC KA.......

"aftermarket support for KAe"that dirty air filter doesnt look too much nismo to me

Well, the weight is not true, there is like 30 lbs difference between the two blocks without supporting equipment. As far as revs, who cares cause CA's are really gutless until you get to about 3500.

And for good measure, you should appreciate his choice since you both happen to be in a class of motors that people ask "why o why did they swap THAT in" about all the time.

You guys just don't see the advantage of running a certain class motor in a more advanced handling car. If auto-X'ed it would pwn.

The car is pretty amazing in person.

The only reason there is a KA in there was so it could be driven to Golden Gardens for the annual Meet.

I would hate on that car if I was rolling on teardrops as well, i would prob hate on everything.

30 pounds isnt a weight drop? AC system and other restrictors and it is considerably more.

why? I ask why everyone band wagons the SR..... solid bottom end, simple tuning, plenty of potential, and no need for a ton of support mods to make it reliable. fuel, cooling, timing, and induction.... go.

as for auto-x...... didnt you just say high revs dont matter?

PS guttless till 3500RPMs........... I make plenty of power at 2500rpms and how much time do you spend under 3500RPMs anyway?
