selling a car, how do i do this?

Alrite, I suppose that this would be the forum to ask this in, if not please re-direct me. My friend wants to sell his mazda3 but doesn't know how to go about it. The reason he is selling it is because he can't keep up with the monthly payments. If he still owes on the car, is it possible for him to sell it? Does he need to go through anything special given these circumstances? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just sold a car to Carmax . They gave me a pretty good deal.They will appraise Your car free of charge,and give You a guarantee that they will buy Your car for that price. They will buy Your car for that price even if You dont buy a car from them.
