  VQ30DE-K Engine swap


Hi every one,
i am trying to swap a 5th gen maxima engine into my 4th gen can anyone help with swap? or write ups thanks.

but just to give you some info

your going to need

engine, trans, wire harness, ecu, nats, bcm, key, maf, intake and a custom exhaust manifolds.

You won't need NATS and BCM if you go with VQ30DE from 1995-1998 model and put the DE-K manifold on top.

well ur not going to need all that for starters....i've done the swap. u dont need custom exhaust manifolds b/c they are indentical to the stock vq30. U can even use the 3.5 manifolds. u would use your existing transmission. The only thing you would take off teh 5th gen wire harness is the injectors clips b/c they are different. You just need to splice them in. your factory harness and ecu will work if you don't want to do a full rewire which is a pita.
