I'm a big fan of documentaries. I like to learn things as well as being entertained, which is the primary reason why I like Discovery, History, TLC, ect...and also why I don't like MTV and other channels that leech our intelligence out through our eyes. But anyway, this movie covers aspects of global warming, human (over)population, deforestation, soil erosion, oceanic life, global economy, governmental limitations, greed, and consumerism, but also how we can change, technological advances used to promote a "greener" earth, and more.
The short of it, humans have done an excellent job messing up this world without enough thought to plan for our long term, global future. We run the risk of extinction, but in the end, the world will be fine, just like it has been for over 4 billion years.
I'd definatly rank this movie DVD5, but, I could not find anything that worked for me besides this 1.4GB download.
