Allright, havnt driven my car in months but finally got all my work done.In the past month and a half ive installed-ACT 6 puck clutch w/ resurfaced flywheel (was too frustrated to take pics)-Fixed a spare oil pan I had and threw it on the car-Changed all main fluids (u dont need to see that)-Installed a full turbo back exhaust-Threw some 501s on my car temporarily till im done refinishing my weds

So I finally broke down and got a full turbo back stainless 3" exhaust for my car. I was previously running a 2.5" with a gutted cat and some crappy muffuler.

That old setup was HAGGARD and I couldnt stand it anymore so I bought:-3" Downpipe made by some off company-3" Test Pipe also made by some small shop online (worst seller ever btw)-3" ebay Catback from EBstores

Im happy with how it turned out, not bad for what I paid either. Only problem is it rubs alittle in one spot but its fine.

Heres picks of the shiz.

NEW EXHAUST

Car sittin on the 501s. Sit pretty nice but I prefer my WEDs.

Car up on ramps. These are the wheels im actually using right now till im done with the weds. The 501s are back on the box.

Simple yet effective setup on the SR. Wanna paint the valve cover to match my oil pan.

Grenade oil pan

oh yes... and please no **** talking on the haggard SAAB intercooler setup lol. Its all sorta temporary till I finish the other car.

This cars the dayly driver so its nothing spectacular performance wise. Its reliable and its comfortable... and dont forget the excellent sounding audio system.

Heh, your diverter valve setup looks IDENTICAL to mine. Right down to the flesh colored cross hose from the cold pipe. And the Bosch DV unit.

Yes, its the cheap no name branded one from EBstores. Like $150. I was suprised with its quality actually. Sure does beat what was on it dont you agree?

These wheels are terribly sized. You cant see it from that angle but they are a 17x7 +40 so you can imagine they are sunk like no ones biz. My weds are alot better sized imo. I am kinda getting used to the time attackish look though.

If your talkin about the Megan one that enjuku sells its basically the exact same thing as mine. Its one of those off brands that all makes their **** the same. BTW, do you happen to know what those odd brackets are for? My cars got no were to mount those to.

lol. I hope you dont have that setup. To me it seems pretty haggard and ugly as **** but man its simple, runs great, and cheap. This car gets alot of abuse and its driven dayly and I love it.

It's getting changed out. I'm swapping the old SAAB IC for a spearco core. I'm also redoing the DV routing to have it come off the hotpipe instead and cut down on engine bay cramping.

I'm going to leave the high mount style of the IC though. The core I've got is 6 inches high, 3 inches deep and I think 24 inches long. I'll have to make a few small cuts on the unibody, but it'll fit and keep the nice throttle response I get.

Just out of curiousity, did you buy the car with that motor and IC setup?

yeah, ive been working on my other car for a long time now and I found this car for a really good deal.

Interior was trashed, outside was meh, wheels were tarded, exhaust was what you see in those pics.

The body was pretty straight and had what seemed to be a reliable SR in it allready so I bought it. At the time I had no other car so I chose this as my DD instead of spending the same amount on a completly stock S13.

Ive done alot to it since though.

That IC setup just looks almost identical to mine. And the guy that put my stuff together originally is the only person I've ever seen set them up the way they are. That bosch unit with the pressure hose going across the front is almost a trademark of his.

hum... You're from VA? Theres a posiblity this car was done by the same person. The guy I bought it from came from somewere twords the east. I dont remember were he said but theres a slight possiblity.

The weard gardenish hose on your cars IDENTICAL to mine. Same texture and everything.

Bosch BOV, SAAB ic, Orange garden hose... what else you got thats distinctive about it?

The welded exhaust. One of the guys that my friend has used in the past tends to weld the exhaust straight to the cat if he can't find flanges. He welded my downpipe to the cat on mine, but left a flange on the catback half. Also, he usually uses 2.5" We've put maybe one or two cars together in the past that used 3"

Since you don't have a stock radiator, I don't know how you have your fan wired up. Typically, we've used stock accessory fans wired up to a Subaru temp switch in the upper radiator hose cross pipe.

His older welds aren't usually the best. He used to get some splatter on the welds and then we would grind them down to neaten them up and fill in any minor air holes. He's gotten better, but if it's an older setup, the welds won't look the best.

hum... the exhaust sounds familiar.

The fan is actually just wired into a switch thats on the gauge cluster surround. I rewired it though.

Also the coolant temp "sensor" on the car is all funky. Its for an aftermarket gauge but I dont have one.

Its all really some small shop work if you look at it. Nothing fancy, some hack some legit.
