The two lights by the compass have several available part #'s: Ba9s, 1895, 363, and W6W bulbs.

Same for 99 QX4. the interior map lights by the compass are rare and hard to find. (Well, easy at the dealer) 168 fits the following in a 99 QX4: Front corner lights Rear license plate lights The 5 or 6 bulbs in the rear third brake light, at the top of the window

Now thats a good question. I havent taken it apart but i'd make a bet that it's a dealer item. Yours gone out?

That would be a good idea, since those factory vanity bulbs are so weak. I don't use them but my girl has complained that she can't do her makeup. What a joke!!

If you find any info on those, make sure to post it here on nico!

I went through a GE catalog at work and found an 8w/ 12v bulb (98 QX4), but no one can get it (or find it), not even our industrial supplier. Out of desperation I stuck a GE #95 in ( only a 7v bulb) and it's brighter than the original Toshiba bulb and so far hasn't burnt out.

Does a Pathy use the same bulb?

BUMP for new info i recently had to do a big search to replace my ash tray bulb. Turns out its # 2723 (made for european cars, for some reason its also in the G35 and QX4) hope this helps someone with their pathfinder / qx4 ash tray light bulb in the future

update: do not use 2723 like i just mentioned. it is too bright and too hot. I do not need my ash tray to light up my interior like the sun.

i checked the dealship and they want $26 for the bulb (you can only buy it with the wiring harness). ill update as soon as i find the right bulb elsewhere at normal pricing. if anyone else can chime in on the ash tray light, it would be appreciated.
