After having the G35 loaner for a week I really got spoiled by the Keyless system. It was so convenient being able to leave the key in my pocket and everything. I wish this was something I could add to my 03 M45 because I love the body style of the car so much!

Unfortunately, not for the 2003 or 2004 M.

The new ones have it though, from what I understand!

I know that the car didnt have it and it cant be added. I was just dreaming that I could have this very nice feature on my old body style M. Would be a huge money maker if someone could do it aftermarket.

Sorry, I was not clear in my hasty post ... I meant that I did not think that it could be added to the 2003 or 2004.

There are no after-market kits that I know of. Nor are they likely to be made, for that matter - the market would be simply too small, since less than 8000 of these model years were sold in the US.

I know that my car in particular is very rare. But if someone could make a kit to fit any nissan or infiniti that did not have this installed that would be a decent size market. There is a company developing an aftermarket push button kit for g35's that came without it.

I know its never gonna happen, but a guy can wish.

This would be a very nice option. Saw this on the new Acura RL.

I want to see those cars and thier owners try to diagnose these peroblems in a couple of years. Musch luck to them . I certainly don't like electrical problems. Specially when a car won't start because of BCM/Alarm issues.

I love my keyless so much, I could never go back to a standard key ignition again.

This seems like it would not be that hard if someone had some RFID experiance. Setup the logic so that you need a specific RFID tag, and embed the chip from the keyfob in the keyslot and you'd be good to go.
