Back in August 2007, Nick Hogan (Bollea) crashed his modded Toyota Supra in Florida while allegedly street racing. Nick Bollea suffered minor injuries, but his friend riding shotgun at the time, John Graziano, suffered serious injuries including head trauma. John may never get out of the hospital.

so, i heard his sponsors dropped him and his family was trying to disassociate themselves from the graziano family as they were attempting to seek justice in the name of their vegetable son.

what has happened since? i saw him doing an interview (old footage) and realized what a cocky little douche he is for having ruined so many cars. will he receive any comeuppance or will his family attempt to shield him with their "celebrity influence" and money?

what happened to the reports that he had alcohol in his system at the time of the accident? is he not at least as accountable as anyone else in this situation? perhaps more so since he was a minor?

I've heard that to big companies one letter represents 10,000 customers. Now I'm sure NOPI has a far smaller fan (customer) base but still it's fesable.

Mike Meyers isn't going to do anything, he brings attention to NOPI which brings money in. It's all business guys. Also, we don't need anymore fail pics on this. I feel bad for everyone involved. It was a tragedy, and the waves in the water it caused are still being felt obviously.

Dano - You might be an admin , but i think we should still do something about Nick being able to have a drift licence. I mean , just look at his picture in the thread i started , hes a ****ing toolbag.

I serioulsy doubt that Nick even gives a ****.

We should do some sort of thing like all NICO members write in and tell them what we think.

Nico v/s Nick Hogan

Hows it sound Greg?

Not gonna happen. You'd have to do it on your own without using the forums as your main avenue.

slappy, im contacting all of the Nopi reps i listed above with the same message that I will send multiple times and encourage everyone i know to do so as well.

I recommend you do the same, but like Dano said let everyone express their individual reasons and concerns as it will make it seem more valid than the population of a singular website/forum expressing the same basic idea over and over.

if you need to contact me regarding this, you can do it via email.

"Please tell me how you can even consider giving Nick Hogan a second chance at being a NOPI "Pro drifter" after all of his despicable actions. He should be banned from the sport permanently for what he has done. It is ridiculous for someone of "pro status" to carry himself in such a manner as Nick Hogan has. He has no regard for human life behind the wheel of a vehicle on or off the track , and his driving has proved that. There are plenty of up and coming drifters that should have Nick Hogans spot. Real drifters that are repsectful and understanding of what drifting is all about , where Nick Hogan does not understand , or does he even care to."

I am relaxed. I just have a problem with people taking it upon themselves to use the forum for their goal without considering if there are any rammifications associated with it. Not just you, i've seen it a number of times before.

Our biggest event of the year every year happens in ATL for the NICO/NOPI Nationals. Wait... What? We're associated with co-hosting it? ...YEP. We are. Now Mike Meyers is a big part of us being able to that, and even though last year's accomadations sucked and frankly was a huge pain in the arse, i'm dam well not going to ruin that relationship and oppurtunity due to one moron driver having everything handed to him. I think Nick Hogan made some terrible mistakes and takes everything for granted, but i'm not going to have it prevent NICO from being awesome and having places to be awesome in.

the only thing ricey about it is the color (and maybe the interior)... everything else is TRD.

Judging from the pics, it looks like the front rotors and 98% of that front end still looks good, lol

I sent what I felt was a concise and well-worded email to the contacts at Nopi. Nowhere in the email did I reference Nico and I used my alt account to send it. I would encourage ANYONE who sends in an email to avoid mentioning specific affiliations to avoid any fallout between Nopi and the forum. It looks better if they are receving emails from diverse groups of people as well.

If you want, share the contact info with your friends on other forums, too.

I appreciate Nico's ties with Nopi, but something MUST be done to get this kid to realize what he has done and just give up playing pretend race car driver. I would hate for a Nico member - or anyone else! - to lose their life or their car because this prick's inability to drive.

3 emails dispatched criticizing Nick for unworthiness, and NOPI for not setting a higher standard. ( No mention of NICO, just me, as an outraged person.)

Maybe Nick should have to work for a living instead of living off mother's milk for the rest of his life too.
