the time has come...any suggestions or input on replacing the clutch fan with an electric....any suggestions on what underdrive pulley and belts to buy...lastly in theory if i buy a lower temp thermostat and install will the engine run cooler???

Belts-go with OEM or Gates from NAPA here are the gates part numbers.

Changing out the thermostat is a major pain, and probably won't give you any kind of performance gain.

I just installed an electric fan in my car, very easy job to do. I used a Black Magic fan, that was supposed to go in my mustang (was designed for 5.0 mustangs) but it fit right in with very little modifications. You can notice some power gains in the upper RPM's, I think... I'm not one to really beat the snot out of my car, and I've been driving a little civic for the past month, so maybe its just the difference in power between the two cars I'm feeling. I'm more concerned with MPG increases than power though.

Young ?? lol Im over 800 years old !! heheI have the part #'s you gave me awhile back in a file.I was just pointing out the original poster was looking for under drive pulley AND belts .Those stockers wouldn't work to well with a UD pulley now would theygr8scott72 wrote:
