electric fan, underdrive pulley, thermostat

the time has come...any suggestions or input on replacing the clutch fan with an electric....any suggestions on what underdrive pulley and belts to buy...lastly in theory if i buy a lower temp thermostat and install will the engine run cooler???

i know yall think im an idiot but hey no1s perfect

Belts-go with OEM or Gates from NAPA here are the gates part numbers.

Fan & Alt. Automotive V-Ribbed Belt (Standard) K040400 High Performance Automotive V-Ribbed Belt K040400RB (Blue) P.S. Automotive V-Ribbed Belt (Standard) K030365 A.C. Automotive V-Ribbed Belt (Standard) K040378 Timing Belts & Components

Changing out the thermostat is a major pain, and probably won't give you any kind of performance gain.

Gerard ..Are those the belts needed with a under drive pulley ??

Those are the standard or stock drive belts BTW The Gates web site has some good part referencesfor pulley's, hoses, thermostats etc etc just go here http://www.gates.com/part_loca...=3598 and enter car info

I just installed an electric fan in my car, very easy job to do. I used a Black Magic fan, that was supposed to go in my mustang (was designed for 5.0 mustangs) but it fit right in with very little modifications. You can notice some power gains in the upper RPM's, I think... I'm not one to really beat the snot out of my car, and I've been driving a little civic for the past month, so maybe its just the difference in power between the two cars I'm feeling. I'm more concerned with MPG increases than power though.

Young ?? lol Im over 800 years old !! heheI have the part #'s you gave me awhile back in a file.I was just pointing out the original poster was looking for under drive pulley AND belts .Those stockers wouldn't work to well with a UD pulley now would they
