  Turkey Hunting...

Spring gun season is coming up here real soon in Missouri. I will be hunting this season for the first time... Grew up with a dad who hunted as a kid for food and hated it because it was never fun, it was a chore. So I never hunted, but I want to. I have a friend who is an experienced hunter who is going to show me the ropes.

Any advice? What kind of camo should I look into? Ect.. thanks in advance.

People who buy sports cars because they want to get pushed back into their seat on their daily trip to get their Chicken McFatty are posers and should find a new hobby

scout the area where you're gonna hunt and look for the pattern that best blends in.

be patient too...you're probably gonna wait a while and let nature get settled in to where you're sitting.

"Now you may ask if I regret it, if I would do it differently if I could, if I would take it back. NOT A CHANCE!!!!! I went for it. I put it all on the line. I always will. I knew what the consequences would be if I failed, and I was willing to accept them. So any of you reading who might be feeling a twinge of sympathy, don't. I made my decisions, and I accept the consequences. I'm no victim. And to those who are thinking about preaching at me, don't bother. I won't hear you. I haven't accomplished anything in this life worth remembering by playing it safe. That's boring to me anyway."

Depends all on the parts your in but here in the middle a realtree AP HD, or advantage timber is fine. Early, early, early is the key.

Got a Turkey this morning. Right about 6:00 am. 24 pounds. 10 1/2 inch beard. 1 1/4 spurs.. probly about 3 and a half years old.

It was picture perfect. It was too easy for my first kill. Beginners luck my buddy told me!
