im fairly sure it'll work. i almost positive i hooked it up wrong and it was brand new when i bought it. the boost gauge and a/f ratio gauge are hooked up and def working though

Well I think the sending unit is done. The way I received it it already had a electric connector on it. It WILL NOT come off. When I tried to get it off it rotated the thing inside of the actual unit. Dunno why you had it tightened down so hard, but that may be it.I guess I'll have to buy a new sender.....

the sender is completely bad? how can you tell? i put a sensor wire on it that i ran, but i never hooked it up to the back of the gauge

Dude, it doesnt work. I've wired it properly as well. It's obvious you had used it, since it's hooked up in the pic. I would like my money back please.

Well I got a new Faze gauge, same model, and it has a few things you didnt have in the kit. I've initiated a paypal dispute. I'd like to have this resolved before I have to escalate this to a claim.Edit: The new gauge works perfectly fine with the wiring btw.

damn, i should check this thread more often. sorry it didnt work out for you but im glad u got one that works. i'm refunding your money, so please send the gauge back.
to anyone else with questions, the a/f ratio gauge and boost gauge both work perfectly and i can provide proof of that through video

idk, this is my 2nd water temp gauge from faze (the first one was used and wouldnt do jack) and after researching them a little, i've found others having similar problems with the water temp gauges. my other gauges from faze work fine though

Well lcukily the new one I got works. I used that Buddy Club adapter as well, the inline one you can put in the radiator hose.
