VQ35DE ALTIMA SE-R TRANSMISSION SWAP

I have a 2002 vq35de altima with a 4 speed automatic transmission and Im swapping it out with a 5 speed auto from the 2006 altima se r. Is this a direct swap??? Does the transmission ECU have to be swapped also?? all help is appreciated.

i want to do the same so if you find out please let me know . i know you want to do it to cause of extra gear and its had triptonic im trying to turn my 2003 se to an 2003 ser

the transmission in theory will bolt up

but as far as axles go I don't know if they are going to be the same.

Try it out by getting the trans and the axles. But your also going to have to get the ATC
