HOW TO REMOVE THE DAMN DRIVESHAFT, very neat and easy

I used a tyre wrench or what ever, it has a Sharp tip that i used to put it inside one of the flywheel`s teeth

Then (i dont know if ur engine has it but...) the engine block has a lil thing, a tube or something inside its block, on the exhaust bottom side, a bellhousing bolt goes in there, sooo i used the tyre wrench (i was untightening so i put it on that side so when someone tried to untight the flywheel it Grabs the teeth and the lil tube and nothing moves :D) Just put the tip of the wrench inside a teeth, jam it on the lil tube (putting it on one side or the other depending if ur screwing or unscrewing), and PRESS FORWARD towards the engine so the bar presses the flywheel and grabs the teeths, when someone tries to unscrew the flywheel the bar grabs its teeth with the tip and the bar stops cause of the lil tube thing!

Heres a pic

Then get someone to just untorque the bolts It wont move, i tried it and it worked GREAT screwing and unscrewing! and im a skinny guy!!! Woot Woot , We did the dissasembly in 2 hours and the assembly in 45 mins :D We tried to do it fast to meassure the driveshaft, but time was out so monday ill get my driveshaft rewelded and ready to drive

Trying to explain... if u get under the car and try this ull understand what im saying... btw if u dont have the lil tube thing, just put a bolt in there, and boila a jamming spot :D

Thank u and have a nice day :D

Or you could just run a chain using 2 bolts from a pressure plate hole and a transmission bellhousing hole - and not risk damaging a flywheel tooth.

not sure why your post says "driveshaft"?But to remove the driveshaft - I use a 14mm racheting wrench turned backwards (so it doesnt hit the sway bar) and I put a small pipe on the wrench for leverage - then I stick a pry bar in the yoke of the DS with the car in neutral and e-brake disengaged. This is so when working alone - after you break 1 loose all you need to do is spin the DS by hand and get all 4 bolts off.
