I just got back from a meeting with the Dallas CAN! Director of Marketing, then are going to try and lean on the Texas Motorplex to allow us to use their facility for this event. We at SnS Racing are dedicated to getting this event to happen, and I am talking with many different companies to get funding and support for this. This is where every single DFW Z owner comes in. I need to be able to show the Texas Motorplex that there is a want for this event and there are people that will come.

If you want to:
Spend a day with your fellow Z owners and many other vehicle owners.
Show off all the mods you have done to your car.
See what sort of crazy ideas other people have come up with to do to their cars.
Race your car for fun.
Race your car in a bracket race to win prizes.
Eat some good food.
And last but not least, help out an organization that has helped many kids across the area and will continue to do so.

The please post here saying that you support this, and i am also putting together a mailing list and have many email addresses already but we need more. we want 1,000 people to be there.

Car Show
Every vehicle that enters the motorplex is in the show.
Drivers can come in, pop their hoods, trunk, doors and show off all that they have done to their cars.
For the car show we also will award trophies and possibly prizes dependant upon the level of sponsorship that we are able to attain. The winning cars would be under these categories –
*Best in Show
*Best Engine Package
*Best Audio Package
*Best Interior
*Best Paint Job

Judges would be, myself, Stephen Andrews, Jessica Knabel and a couple of more either from the Dallas CAN! Academy the Motorplex or the crowd.

Racing Events
Street Legal Heads-up Race
-Unlimited in the number of participants
-$5 entry fee (which would go to the Charity)
-Trophies for top 3 cars
This is designed as a fun all out race to see who can build and tune the best. Run what you brought and leave the other guy in the dust.

Street Legal Bracket Race
-96 contestant limit
-$20 entry fee (part to Charity part to 1st place)
-Trophies to the top 3 drivers
The Bracket race is designed for the biggest part of our target audience, the guys that love cars and racing but are having to slowly build up their cars/tools to be able to get more into the sport. This is also where we will aim to attain the biggest and best prizes.
(Our aim is to have 96 people in the bracket race and 96 prizes for the bracket race)

Exhibition Races
We do and will invite all professional and/or built drag cars to this event in for the purpose of fun exhibiton. If we attain interest from multiple owners of these cars we will design a heads up race series with trophies for the top 3 cars. This would be a very welcome addition to the event and would show great support for this non-profit organization. (being the Dallas CAN! Academy)

Food
I honestly have no idea if the Motorplex already has concession or not.
I have been speaking with Charlie’s Subs owners to see if they want to come out and cook philly cheese steaks. They are actually working on a plan to be able to come out.
I would also like to find a BBQ place to come out and cater the event.

Sponsor Interest
We will be looking to big names to sponsor this event. As I have expressed in my conversations with the motorplex SnS Racing is Dedicated to making this event HUGE.
I will be talking with all local performance shops, auto parts stores and I have other big sponsors in mind that I would like to get for this event. Such as Nissan and GM.
We also will be in contact with local radio stations and possibly TV stations to spread the word of the event and hopefully get some sort of coverage.
Magazines are also another target, we would like to get a magazine or 2 out to do an article over the event or just the cars at the event.

Summary
We want this to be a HUGE event that will be remembered and demanded for years to come. SnS Racing is dedicated to this and will do everything within our power to make this happen. I have no problem with spending an entire week 12 hours a day in a car driving to meet with companies to attain the type of sponsorship level that we will need to get this to happen.

and to let you know about our ideas for the bracket race prizes, we want to get a matco tool box, filled with tool for first place, that is the type of stuff we are talking about, and on the opposite end we want the smallest prize to be a 25$ gift card. so it is definatly worth your time and money.
