I have spec clutch stage 3+ and have been hearing grinding-like noise during cold when I press the clutch. When it's engaged the noise goes away. It used to happen only for the first cold startup. Now it last for about 3 minutes when everything is warmed up.

Is this normal for aftermarket clutch? should I expected to go away when it gets warmer?

Is it an unsprung hub? Such as an ACT 6 Puck.

Could be your pilot bushing wearing out.

I have the same clutch as you and I never heard any noise like that, but I have also never driven it in too cold of weather, so I guess I'm not helping all that much. Sorry.

Yes, I still have this problem. It only occurs during cold and only when I press in the clutch. After some street driving it goes away. I called spec and they say it's completely normal.

Some things bothers me though:1. Not everyone has this problem2. When the clutch was new I didn't have this problem even if it's cold. It seems the problem worsens over time.
