heres the car bone stock and unmolested

heres the 350 going into it.

the engine was one of my dad's (hes got a few v8s and spare parts laying around) but he gave it to my brother. one of the cylinder walls was pretty messed up so the engine was cleaned up and bored 30 over. oversized summit racing piston and piston rings were used. the heads are the old ones off of my dad's 72 chevelles, they're mid 60s vette heads with some work done and good for a lot of power. my dad ditched em to get dart heads
. the valve covers are also my dad's theyre moroso valve covers and they were in terrible shape. a few hours with an Emory cloth cleaned then up nicely. the intake manifold is an edelbrock rpm performer (iirc) and the carb i cant remember off the top of my head, but im pretty sure its a 600cc(and i know its an edelbrock). the cam is a comp cam and i cant remember the spec on it to save my life but i will say this, the cam, heads, intake manifold and carbs are all designed fro a low to mid power range. pretty much hes gonna be making some real good power from idle to 4.5k rpms. the headers on it in the pics are black jack shorty headers but he didnt liek the design so new ones are coming soon. the car is also have a vac gauge installed along with water temp and oil pressure. the factory transmission is being reused with a new bellhousing and a hays racing clutch the. factory flywheel is being used and just got resurfaced. the fuel filter is an edelbrock and steel braided lines are used off the carb for fuel. i know there a lot im forgetting and i will try to get more specs if i remember. the camaro is in the garage currently and the engine was ripped out in about a day and a half. the car has also had the engine bay pressure washed along with the transmission. most of the wiring has been gone through and weeded out and the ac is being removed. i dont have any pics of this but heres some of his parts stockpile

ps- oops forgot to mention he got a posi rear end to replace the factory open dif. he also has a new fender and front bumper as well as a glasstek fiberglass hood with 4 inch cowl. hope u enjoyed the pics, i'll try to take more today

we both are pretty good drivers so it'll just be down to the vehicles. a funny little stroy is a few years ago in my brothers junior year of high school. he was part of the school band only because they were taking a trip to virginia beach, after the trip was over he didnt really care. while in VA beach there were a lot of activities offered for the students such as dinner out on a boat and other things. one activity was everybody racing go carts on a track. if uve ever driven an mr2 u know it feels similar to a go cart, so he can in 1st on every course

rofl...an SB 350 into anything on the planet isn't original.

I do love 3rd gens even if they are huge pieces of crap concerning build quality.

I want an LS swapped IROC-Z because the 350TPI sucked.

I'm not even got mention the 305

that a nice project you got going there, we have a kid in my auto tech class with a 350 swapped into his iroc-z (with cam and headers) and that thing can move.

me and my brother do yes, mostly cuz our cars are black, the struts were a blue that really stood out and he wanted to tone it down

update- the car started up with just a little tweaking of the dizzy. unfortunately there was no oil pressure. this means 1 of 2 things
