i just got a 90 240sx and it has the ka24e, my first thought was a swap, then i started thinking turbo. can any one give me a price estimate on doing this a kit? or maybe putting one together, or if this is even a good ideal?

Read the FAQ at the top of the page. Then google KA24E turbo kits. There are a couple I can think of off the top of my head. JGS being the best IMO.

If I had the E I wouldn't swap in the DE...In fact, the E has made more power NA then the DE has. But that's neither here nor there I suppose.

you need to read the faq. go to the top of the thread list find it. one of the links in there is "how much boost can i run on stock parts" or somethin like that.

Blocks are fine. The ring lands on the pistons are a little weak.read the stickies up top and you will want to turbo that ka instead of a swap. Lots of fun can be had with a ka-t.Welcome aboard.
