Background - I have a red top sr. My car was converted from auto to manual. I have all new master + slave, plus braided steel line.

Story - I drove my car across town yesterday. All was normal. Ran great. I got back home and parked it. Sister called for a ride. I got in car started it up, depressed clutch pedal and (attempted) to put it in reverse. Clutch is not disengaging and grinds even if i have pedal fully depressed. There is full normal pressure on the pedal and the slave is pushing on the fork. We plan on pulling off trans to replace stock clutch. Does anyone know what this problem most likely is? Thanks.

clutch is obviously not disengaging. Along with slave master and line you should have replaced the clutch also. start there report back to us. dont forget to replace throw out bearing and pilot bearing just so you know its not related

I never replace master/slave. Just installed because of manual swap. Clutch is being replaced. Wanted to know if it is something else like broken fork pivot.

Sounds like the fork isnt being pushed all the way in. Maybe some air in the lines or a weak slave. Bleed the clutch out again. Also see if the fork moves through the full motion.

Oil level looked good. Hydraulic fluid level looks good. Im starting to think that I was having serious mental issues for that 10 minutes I experienced this. Its bizare.

i had a problem with mine. all the gears work except reverse one day. then the next day i couldnt get out of 3rd gear. i took the trans apart and the fork broke inside the transmission. i believe the megan short shifter cause this becuz the plastic pushing got worn out so i would grind sometimes into gear.
