  Meet 240sxMotoring

Spotlight on 240sxMotoring

One of NICOclub's earliest sponsors, 240sxMotoring came on board in 2003 as the keystone vendor for 240sx.org, the largest 240sx community on the web. However, Connecticut Import Performance and 240sxMotoring were taking care of the 240sx community's needs long before NICOclub became a household name. Since 2000, Connecticut Import Performance has brought competitive pricing and excellent service to the automotive aftermarket scene. Along with 240sx Motoring, CIP has established itself as a highly influential player in the aftermarket scene.

Jeff Ricca, Owner/Manager, founded CIPmotorsports/240sxmotoring in 2000 with the focus on 240's mostly as well as other Nissan models for aftermarket performance parts. With his ability to organize and communicate well with the industry, Jeff has high hopes for the future and success of the drift team. He's a permanent fixture at motorsports events across the country, and is constantly on the lookout for ways to better serve the S-chassis enthusiast.

CIP prides itself on its fabrication and installation skills. Contrary to may other "shops" out there, CIP is not a general repair shop. They're a custom fabrication shop dedicated to the work on customer cars that are meant for race use only. One of the reasons CIP has been so successful in this area is Jay Cyr. Jay's the Lead Mechanic at CIP, and owns a 240sx himself. He began working at the shop part time, early 2006. Jay currently helps out with the team at local events and with the Canadian series. He is a hard worker with lots of ambition, and his work is reflected in the numerous racing successes compiled by CIP-built cars. Rounding out the team at CIP are Andrew and Matt, who handle the retail / wholesale and sales end of the business. Since funding a race and a drift team requires some capitol, these guys are working the phones and emails to make sure the S-chassis enthusiasts in North America get well taken care of.

No REAL work gets done by a bunch of car guys unless there's a smart woman around to keep them in line, and that's where Rachel Cuomo comes in. While her official title is simply Public Relations Manager for CIP, she can usually be found working in the shop, answering the phones when you call in an order, and helping out where ever needed - Yes, even with the cars! Rachel is a huge help out at events, whether it be cleaning/detailing the car, getting tools, or changing tires. she likes to be involved, and as such, is responsible for the oversight and management of the drift team website and the company's myspace page, keeping pictures and videos up to date, and writing articles so you, the fans, can get current information ASAP!

CIP not only enjoys the respect and appreciation of countless amounts of satisfied customers but also thrives on the accomplishments of their many racing endeavors. Along with Drift Alliance Ace Ryan Tuerck, the 240sxMotoring Drift Team has stormed through to victory in Formula-D, Canada's Driftmania, and plenty of local events. The team's passion for motorsports is never fulfilled, and now 240sxMotoring is gearing up for an assault on the Time Attack scene. Based on an early preview of the TIme Attack S14 at VIR earlier this year, the team at 240sxMotoring should have no problem amassing more victories and credibility.

So he has an Integra and you have a 240?
I know why she left you.
She likes it in the front better than the rear.
Welcome to NICO.

lol I don't want to add up my stack of CIP receipts but I know about what I've spent on my car and at least 2/3'rds of it have been at 240SXMotoring. Jeff definitely knows what this business is all about. I'm only a town away so I'm there frequently unloading my paycheck I've also seen "behind the scenes" and it's no easy game!! Best local support ever, and well established nationwide. Props for tolerance, skill, knowledge, gettin' yr hands dirty, and being a good businessman and a friend.

Jeff has gone above and beyond for me, even when having troubles with another vendor on this forum who is a scammer. Having looked around at other shops and businesses out there in and out of the 240 community, I would bet that not a single one stacks up to CIP/240sxmotoring. They're currently working my swap and I've bought every part I could from these guys.

Although my car isn't done yet, I'd make my own little write-up of them of how great they are, but I honestly don't even know it's necessary. Everyone I mention to about them is already aware how great these guys are.

I look forward to seeing their future grow with Nissan/Infiniti performance.
