I was wondering if any of you guys know if its possible to find JDM RWD VQ30DET engine to buy from someplace. I searched for over an hour on google.co.jp and found nothing. I know that engine came in alot of JDM vehicles like Nissan Gloria, Cima, Cedric, and Leopard.
not to high jack the thread, but any idea what kind of work is needed for the swap in an s13? I would think that x-member and mount fab would be a must, as well as a custom drive shaft, but any specifics on this?
you also have to shorten the shifter length about 6 inches i believe. because it doesnt meet up with the hole in the floor in the 240 if u use the 6speed.
Best idea is to save up a few thousand dollars, buy the engine and new G35/350Z NISMO mounts and fab them into fitting along with the car you want. There's nothing better than an OEM mount when it comes to quality. And if you fab it yourself you'll be sure how good the mod is.
