My 2jzsx Project!!

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Well guys again I'm Jeremiah. I'll be doing a 2jz swap into a s13 fastback. The thread Im sure will be long. I'll continue to keep this thread updated, anytime something new comes in or is going on. Ill start with some pics of the car and the parts that came in today. We will go from there as the days come and go.

Here we go

Here's the car...pics kinda suck so please dont judge just yet hehe.

The ole KA

Side shot

Rear shot

Interior shot

Thats all the pics as of right now on the car dont worry Ill get more. Yes this is being done in my backyard, im sure ill hear alot from u guys about that haha.

Now for the parts that came in today.

ACT Extreme Pressure Plate

ACT 6 Puck Clutch

Lightweight Flywheel

Water Pump

Throttle Body Bracket

Spacers

Pulley Set

Motor Mounts

3.5 Exhaust

Crossmember

Thant all the parts that came in today. Nothing I really can do anything with just yet. Motor should be in middle of next week again hopefully.

So things are finally getting here, now just waiting for the rest is the hard part. Post ur question and whatever in here I dont mind, but please keep negative things to yourself.

Jeremiah

Not really, I do the same damn thing...even if it's just gauges. Every day the mail is empty, aside from bills, is like a total let down...lol.

Guys I apologize fpor the lack of updates. Im waiting STILL on a couple of parts that are hindering me from doing the swap. Another reason is I'm training for and with 20th Special Forces Group getting ready to go to Selection. Again I apologize and will have something soon for you guys.

call tech2 motorsports and see what they can do for you on an engine. Thats where I got mine.

Well guys first off, I apologize for the lack of updates. I work in the mountains and dont get very much free time anymore but, it hasnt stopped me from getting parts hehe. Right now on the way I have full z32 brakes, 5lug, and q45 rearend on the way. Next is Stance gr+ coilovers, rims/tires, 67-74mm turbo kit(havent decided on size yet), Fuel system and Engine management. Ill have some pics of the parts as soon as they arrive. As for the work, becasue of my job I have to push it back for a bit. Looking at the end of march/beginning of april. again apologize for lack of updates. Wiring was done by tech2motorsports.

Didnt realize i posted in my older thread on accident. But, as for part updates. I recieved my q45 rearend, axles and rear hubs. Waiting on front hubs, brakes.

I pick the car up on the 20th in louisiana to trailer it to Colorado so I can start on my swap. Im looking for the beginning of June for it to be done. Ill be on stock twins for now until the fall gets here then ill move over to a 67mm or 72mm turbo.

Anybody in colorado thats wants to make a trip to Grand Junction feel free to come by.

Will update when either more parts arrive or when i get back from louisiana and start getting my hands dirty.

badarse. did you get the ic piping from tech2. i was wondering if there piping had a bead around the ends. the photo on their site doesn't really show and i don't want to be blowing couplers off constantly. btw alexandria is where a ****load of my family is from. i used to go up there a few times a year.

yeaa I pretty much got everything from Tech2. The piping is beaded around all ends. I hear ya, i was constantly doing that on my evo, pulling over fixing it and then doing it again. But i finally fixed it for good. How far are you from Waco/killeen area? Yea I lived in Alex for about 12 years. But now in Colorado for the time being.
