useful could be in the eye of the beholder though.

first two that come to mind are:

clutch dampener removal

and

interior tar removal (dry ice is cheap)

lets have some more ideas, since a lot of new people on this site are low on cash but still have the itch for working and improving upon their cars.

DIY intercooler sprayer and cooling panel.

intercooler sprayer costs $3-4 @ Home Depotcooling panel needs sheet metal or cardboard (your choice) and something to cut with.

The Home Depot and JB weld intake is also pretty cheap. For instance my buddies tercel.

But the concept can be adapted to a 240 as well for cold air and such.

Also the cam timing can be changed as illustrated in zerothread/152578

or maybe if you consider the Q45 brake upgrade dirt cheap...

peace

its all over the place, and there is a write-up on the tech/info page. it creates a direct connection between master and slave cylinder, bypassing the dampner. More solid clutch feel. do a search you'll find it all

Buy the agency 52" stainless clutch line. Remove hardline and dampener. Bleed. Enjoy the more connected feel of the clutch pedal on your foot.

It will make your life 500% easier when you go to bleed the clutch lines. I spent three hours bleeding that crap and my clutch still wouldn't work right. so yes it makes a HUGE difference in that aspect.

Let's see.. junkyard e-fan, throttle body bypass, timing (careful with that one though), weight reduction.... Oh, and turn up the boost.

Sorry , no write up. I removed my Intake Mani and took as much emissions **** as i could off under there , threw out my carbon canister/hoses , made a EGR block off plate w/gasket , and tossed all the lines that went everywhere. For the 2 bongs(EGR/AIV) that were left open on my exhaust mani and midpipe , i bought these from nissan....part #14052-21R00 cost $11.89 each

And as far as the clutch dampener , its garbage. Just take it off and throw it away.
