for those having a hard time passing smog!

hey, I moved down to the peoples republic of california from washington and has have a very hard time passing smog in my 91 nissan 240sx. any way it was a gross polluter the first time I took it in for both hc, and nox, so I di a complete tune up and installed a new cat and retested again it failed it did come down a little in the nox from 2200 to 1500ish. so then I decided that I would try putting alchy in my tank and trying it again, so I put in 2 gallons of denatured alky on a close to empty tank and retested, BOOM!!! super low smog numbers!! my nox went down to 400 and both hc and co pretty much didnt exist. so just a heads up to all you guys that this alchola in the fuel tank trick does work with no bad side effects. hope this helps some people

really cuz i thought of that but i needed more proof i can't pass mine for ****! running to high on nox nc how far do i have to run the tank down? till almost empty or past the empty line?

any thing below a 1/4 of a tank should be fine if you put in a few gallons of alky. works like a champ

wth i tried and i failed again how much alky do in need iran to near emplty and put 1.25 gallons do i really need alot mybe 2 or 3 gallons>
