Hmmm. While I liked the Murano look I think it was time for a overhaul. Does have some Rogue qualities but I think if pulls off a more aggressive look as compared to the Gen-1 models.Nice find. I will need to add those to the muranoclub.org site

One thing I noticed that they didn't address: still no oil pressure gauge. Which I mean it's not that big of a deal, but that's a pretty standard gauge anymore on most cars. Of course my Frontier has one, but it's only a "dummy" gauge. I doesn't really work; it just stays in one place no matter what the revs are. I was told that they did work in the 2005 models but that people were freaking out because at idle, the pressure is really low. So to keep people from doing that, they just made it always read normal unless there is a problem.

also...I'm on the fence about the styling. I was that way when the 2003's came out too though, but now I think my wife's is the best looking CUV out there.

I like everything, but I just don't see the front to be attractive at all. Doesn't fit in well with the rest of it.

My wife and I have been shopping the Rogue, and I'm still convinced that my wife will probably eventually still buy a Roque.Having said that, I must say that I was really smitten today when I saw the first 2009 Murano to show up at our nearest dealer. It is much more Roque-like than before, in two big ways: it bears some resemblance to the fine design of the Roque, and not so edgy as the first generation Murano. And it is optioned much like a Rogue - fewer trim levels, stability control in all models, AWD gives rear-wheel push on starting off and turns, etc. etc. So my initial impression of the 2009 Murano was very positive - now my wife will go see it, and we'll see if it shakes her from her previous Roque preference (willingness to settle for 4 cylinders to keep fuel cost down, for example).

I'm thinking about either a fully loaded Rogue SL AWD with premium package for $25-27K or a 2009 Murano S AWD, not sure if I can get one for under $30K though. The front grill needs to grow on me, it looks kind of odd.
