Someone told a friend of mine that his ball joints were completely warn out in the back because of his suspension being too stiff and that if he were to replace them with new stock ones they would just get ripped apart....I did not know that there were ball joints in the back in the lower control arms? or where are they??? I looked at a few places for them but no where carries them or even has them in their computer...Thanks

Rear lower control arm ball joint, mine are in pretty bad shape. They don't sell ball joint replacements for the RLCA, you have to buy the entire arm but you can substitute a joint from a certain Sentra I think I read on here...somebody clarify this!

The ball on the B13 front ball joint is 1mm bigger than the S13, but the actual cylinder case fits right in. I have a set of TRW B13 front ball joints in the rear of my car right now.

Yes. Front B13 Sentra ball joints fit the rear S13 LCAs.

Make sure you budget the ~$200 to rent the specialty tools to do this project. One set is to remove the ball joint from the spindle (or just use a BFH and risk damaging the spindle), and the other is to remove and install the ball joints themselves. Lucky for me I get to borrow them for free from work

I just tried the b13 ball joints today... And they do not fit... The casing does not fit in the LCA it stared to flare the part where the ball joint slides into... but the threads and everything fit in the spindle but it will not fit in the lca I dont know what to do now i need something that will fit...Does anyone know if the fronts are the same as the back?!?!

man i havent had the time to actually install them in my car but if u read the entire post i believe he said they is a 1mm difference somewhere in there thats about .038 inches thats alot. if u have a set of calipers do me a favor and save me some time tell me what the stock balljoint size is ill have the moog 9449 put in the lathe and cut. once i know it works ill let u know. since u already have the ball joint out go to the junkyard and get a control arm put it on ur car for the time being if u nedd to drive it.

The ball joints from an 89 nissan sentra from the front lca's fit directly into the rear lca's nothing has to be done to them.

The one who made the post said that they dont fit lol. I Said the 93' Sentra ball joints that i bought do not fit but if you have ball joints for an 89' Nissan sentra they do indeed fit because those are the ones i have in right now.

Yeah some ball joints relocate the pivot point which results in a change in roll center height. This is good for handling on lowered cars.

I guess man if thats what came up... I didnt use the moog parts i used Mcquay Norris. The moogs im sure are better so as long as they are for an 89' nissan Sentra's Front LCA's then they will fit directly in the 240s rear LCA's.

If it were me, I would just buy a new arm. Saves the hassle.
