Lmao, why would you even consider doing this? It wouldn't look good, and it would serve no purpose what-so-ever. I hear the rogue handles like crap even below 55, it's not a race SUV. It's an on a budget SUV.

I would cosider doing it. It isn't a speed thing, or handling thing. It is a style thing! Also keeps dirt and water off of the back window.

Now as far as price there are some on Ebay, I posted a link to it in this forum somewhere, and if you Google nissan accessories, there is another place on the net that has them. They screw on, not sure of the procedure or difficulty though.

Hey I'm with you its your car you decide how you want it to look. I'm a little perturbed at anyone who broadly states that something is wrong with the color of a vehicle, an interior color or a option... they may not like something but you or I may. It is just there opinion and I would prefer it was stated it as such.

Do you come here just to bash Rogue owners? This is the 2nd post of yours that is strictly negative in nature.

You don't like Rogues, don't buy one, but don't bash what others might justprefer over something you view as superior.

I'm over on the MO section and saw rogue forum thought I'd see what you guys are upto and then I see a bunch of lol threads so I chimed in. However this thread is just beyond dumb.

The Rogue handles wonderfully in ALL speeds. Why do you think they have a spoiler on the Lexus SUV? It's stylish! Accessorize!

They only thing dumb is when someone else tries to make everybody else think theres are better for what ever reason than yours. Listen we have our own section so don't hijack it just because. I happen to like the way a spoiler would look its a personal preference.

Spent quite a bit of time in the Murano actually, as good as you'd expect from a tall, heavy platform. It was good enough but don't try to drive hard through corners and turns. (you don't buy SUV's for this anyways)

The Rogue, my time was limited to a test drive but at least I got a chance to wring it's neck so to speak. It acquitted itself very nicely, especially through a series of curvy roads.

Most SUVS, and even the RAV and CRV have a lot of body roll which takes the fun out of it. The Roque was great though! I think it helps that it's quite light for it's size. No complaints on the handling.

As for spoilers.. that's a personal thing. Myself i don't like them even on sports cars because they're an aerodynamic lie on vehicles that spend most of their life below 70mph. The pretense is there but the substance isn't.

The idea of a spoiler keeping crap off the back of the car is ridiculous (this seems to be a common perception out there). The profile of these flat-backed cars don't close off the airstream as well, so you have turbulent airflow behind the vehicle where all this crap kicked up off the road is swirling about.

Nothing wrong with getting one for looks though.

In my Accord Coupe, if I'm going anywhere over 50mph, rain doesn't fall on my back window. In fact, I can open the moonroof in a moderate rainfall and not get wet.

Besides, I wouldn't even call the spoiler on these things a real spoiler. They're mostly just a lip, which I doubt has any affect on the aerodynamics of the vehicle. Some people like the style, some don't, which is why they're optional

Back on topic dub dub dub bancroftaccessories dot com has the spoiler pre-painted for $279. Not sure what Nissan dealers charge for it, but it's probably more. Apparently it's easy to install...-Jimmy

In spite of some opinions, I'd like a spoiler too and want to get one. I drew one on my Iridium that's in the brochure and think it looks hot. Makes it look more like the Lexus.

But if I have to special order, which it still looks like I will have to, I don't want to risk holding up my car for the spoiler. So may get one after-market.

I guess you have to carefully drill and tap holes on the Rogue to put this on?

I too want the spoiler. But I want to know how it mounts before I buy it online. If you have to drill holes the the metal, I guess I'll pay the dealer to do that so if there is an issue it is not my fault.

I just had a spoiler pur on my new Rogue!!! WOW it really good...almost like the lexus...same color as the car. In fac I have everything on the Rogue except the Sunroof air deflector (getting that today) and the cross bars for the roof rack...jury still out on that one...saw them on a Rogue today and its ok not sure if it is something I want...floor mats, kick plates and rear bumper are all necessities...

As for the handling I think this is one of the best handling SUXs around and one of the safest. Not sure I would change much except a gas tank door that is opened from the inside and an automatic lights on like what is in the Altima and MAxima. Other than this it is an amazing car and fun to drive...oh I have the Phantom White, SL AWD loaded...

I love the Bluetooth, the CVT is amazing and I am getting better gas mileage than what is listed. Love the paddle shifters they are fun but that is about it...more for the kid in me when I want to have fun.

I would recommend this car to all and the spoiler is a must...the car does not look finished without it...I relate this to a vehicle van/suv without roof rails it looks bare...just my opinion.

Did you do the spoiler or the dealer? I am seriously thinking of buying one myself and doing it.

Me three. Spoiler pics.

And what did it take to install them. Did you buy aftermarket then have Nissan dealer install or what???

I have the Iridium Rogue so am afraid after-market spoiler wont match and don't want to have to go to the local Nissan dealer. Wonder if a regular body shop could do it?

I had the dealer do it since I had them include the spoiler, kick plates and bumper pad all in the negotiated price. I will get pictures when I get home tonight, sorry didn't even think about that. Agreed it does nothing for downforce, speed etc but it has all to do with styling and it does look like a lexus now. I was just at 5 star resort this past weekend where the hobknobs like to be and everyone was asking me what car it was!!! everyone liked it! So tonight I will get the digital camera up and running and will add some pics.

Yes they drill holes in the liftgate which is why I had them do it. I didn't want to be responsible if rust occurs or anything. My recommendation is let the dealer do it...ttyl

OK, we haven't seen the pics yet. I am waiting to see what it looks like for real instead of on the websites. I want to put one on ours so bad!

I'm waiting for my spoiler to come in from the dealer. Should be a few days.

I'm also having them install it much for the same reasons about responsibility / future problems. Not that I couldn't do it myself.

And I suppose it's a race now to see who gets pics of their spoiler posted first....Even if he does have a head-start on me.

Got an idea, since the rear hatch is tinted, how slick would a Black spoiler look instead of body color? (match the windows) any photoshop pros here?!

I like the look of the spoiler and plan on getting that as the first option probably. It looks REALLY REALLY GOOD with the spoiler on there.

I should be able to photochop that as soon as somebody posts pics of their car with the spoiler on it.

I have an appointment this Saturday to have my spoiler installed...I will get some pics posted in the afternoon or evening for sure.

I read thru instructions for the install...it looks like something that I could easily do at home...but...there was one thing printed that concerned me.

After drilling the four holes in the top of the hatch to mount the spoiler it mentioned to apply rust preventative (( P/N 999MP 9G001P ). Failure to apply rust preventative will result in red rust.

So for that I will have the dealer install it just for the added insurance. So if anything happens down the road, they can hold the responsibility.
