we've used the haltech on other cars like a SC'd alfa romeo and an fc with a turbo b13 pushing out 460+whp. the new software is MUCH MUCH better and we'll be getting one for one of our customers with a turbo 350z as well as our own car a 200sx with an sr20det.

I'm about to drop a vq35de into a 4th gen Maxima with a to4e. Has this unit been tested on the 2002 up maxima with the vq35?

I checked the 02/03 Maxima VQ35, and they use a different wiring harness so it would not plug directly in. You could wire it, or look at using a 350z harness.

I would be willing to do that, I'm not afraid to cut up a harness. Do they have the same sensor connections? I would have to get the FWD block and use the RWD harness.

I would assume they used the same connectors, but I have not tried this personally to know. My only other concern would be the length, you may have to open a bit of the back of the harness to make it come through the firewall at the appropriate place. Otherwise you can use the stock harness and cut into it inside the vehicle where the ecu is.

Haltech platinum is an incredible unit, we recently installed this in my 2005 Infiniti G35 coupe pulled out 260.9 WHP on a bone stock motor in 1 hour on the Dyno. I have been racing this car in select GT races and the local Time Attacks and it has been amazing. Thanks to Injected for their help Drew http://www.anothershade.com/racing.html
