Ok I've been eye ballin this 240 for about a month now, and I plan on getting it but I don't know if its a good buy tell me what you think...I posted in the Silvia forum a while back.

eh, id definitely try to work it down some. 3750-4k maybe?

mostly bc of the miles, but otherwise it seems pretty darn good.

yeah thats what I was told Im gonna try to do that im taking it for a test drive this Friday to how how it drives... thanks for the advice

i actually just test drove a nice s13 today! if it all works out ill have a 240 of my own in a week or two...

Must've been crashed, at least the driver's side airbag was deployed. You should inspect it well. Also it's not worth more than $3400.

Ive seen a couple s14's with a dent in the steering wheel before I thought it was normal... I checked every thing, it looks good from what I saw so far but im going to check it one more time before I pay him for it.hopefully I will be a proud owner of a S14 with tha baller package Thursday hahagold pack looks cheesy don't it Thanks for the input guys!

Might be. My steering wheel, and the whole dash is f#cked now, since i had a crash back in March. I hate the way the design the passenger side airbag deployment.

I got my 95 240sx for the same price, except mine was salvage title (minor crash, nothing at all) 132k miles and SE.

check for any leaks/see if oil is burning or leakin near vc gasket. check compression, make sure all cyl. are +/- 5 and above 160. listen to it make sure the timing chain/system is alright and no plastic guide is broken. bring it to a dealership and have them paint test it, see if theres any thick layers (repainted). find out the last time the diff fluids were changed. check the cooling system, make sure you run it at idle for a while, for leaks and to see if it overheats. make sure the antifreeze is a good color and not dirty. aka you're making sure it was a well maintained high mileage car. make sure to check all lights down to the reverse lights, you dont want any shorts. check the underbody for damage. check the brakes/calipers. make sure pistons arent frozen. check the clutch/transmission/linkage/synchros for damage by abuse. theres plenty of other **** to check for also but im watchin a movie right now so...write me later and i can help you out but theres a good start.good luck
