Ok fellas i need to know if i can use a sr20 ignitor im just finishing up my sawp and come to find out i need an ignitor so if i can get some help this is the only thing i need to start my car. asap response would be great thank you

or i would just buy a ca18det ignitor

u can, but it uses differant clips, aka more wire splicing.

Look for one from a infinity Q45, the pulsar one i think has a slightly differant output harness clip?

Well then i just want a ca18 ignitor.. Anyone have onesomeone has to have one laying around. PLeaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

done deal this is the thing i got one from a guy here in arizona and he said it was either a q45 or a ca18 he also q45 and the ca18 are pretty much the same thing. SO we tryed and tryed and tryed so many different ****ing ways and we cant get this SOB to start it cranks all day but no spark. Where do i send money order

Bump for the pros about the q45 ignitor (ive heard from other sources that you can use it as well)

Just a thought, hows the ca18et/ca18de compatability with the ignitors?

yes Q45 ignitors are the same as the CA ignitors, so if you tried other ignitors than your problem probably lies in the wiring.

Yes the Q45 ignitor is plug n play on the STOCK CA harness. Its not plug n play for a SR because the SR ignitor is completly different.
