Actually, it's the PS3's fault. Valve says the PS3 is terrible to develop for.otterman wrote:lol Valve's pretty good at ****in up release dates! I blame the fact they decided to release it on Xbox

If you're buying the Orange Box for PC you can give away the extra Half Life 2 and Ep 1 you get, so if you have a friend or somebody who wants HL2 and/or Ep 1, you can just send it to them via Steam. So it's not a complete loss.Loki wrote: Freaking console lovers. Not to mention how they cancelled black box. They're basically making everyone re-buy HL2 AND Ep1 just to get the package we were promised nearly a year ago.

Games that are finished.... I didn't know they could finish them... I think you're lying.MinisterofDOOM wrote:The reason for the missed release dates has to do with the fact that Valve likes to release games that are finished, instead of rushing development to meet ideal release dates as has become the moronic cash-cow custom these days.
Yeah, the GF just finished it. Though, it looks like it may have unlocked some advanced maps. So she's probably gonna play it some more tomorrow.MinisterofDOOM wrote:I beat Portal this morning before I went to sleep (tells you how short it is...took me about 2 1/2 hours) and loved every damn second. Brilliant game. Every bit of it shines.
